Individual Therapy

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual psychotherapy is a talk-based treatment focused on enhancing and sustaining mental health and overall well-being. When working with children, play is often an integral part of the therapeutic process. At Lakeside Psychological and Educational Services, our clinicians collaborate closely with each client to support meaningful change in areas such as thoughts, emotions, behaviors, learning, and social interactions.

We offer individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.

Parenting Support

At times, parenting can feel overwhelming, confusing, or isolating. Whether you're navigating everyday challenges, major transitions, or concerns about your child's behavior or development, parenting therapy offers a space to reflect, learn, and grow in your role as a caregiver. Through one-on-one or joint sessions, our clinicians work with parents to:

  • Strengthen communication and connection with their children
  • Manage behavioral or emotional concerns
  • Understand developmental stages and age-appropriate expectations
  • Build confidence in decision-making and parenting style
  • Co-parent effectively through separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics
  • Reduce stress and improve overall family functioning

Parenting therapy is not about judgment—it's about empowering you with insight, tools, and support tailored to your unique family.

Family therapy can address a wide variety of issues that impact family dynamics. Whether the concerns feel big or small, personal or shared, working together in a supportive environment can lead to stronger relationships and a healthier, more connected home life.
